Flint, granite, quartz, agate and silver were the main materials of our training and design work and these still feature strongly in our range. From our prototype cufflinks casts were made of the silver components and these are now produced for us by small businesses in the old jewellery quarter in Birmingham using traditional lost wax casting techniques. The findings that come from the moulds are cleaned and polished before being sent to the Birmingham Assay Office for testing and hallmarking.
This region was once an epicentre of fine stone carving for jewellery. Three generations of the family are working in the business and they have vast knowledge and experience of handling a wide variety of semi precious gemstones. They produce stones to our own design and specifications
It is an immense pleasure for us to be working with such friendly partners. They are so particular about quality and show such empathy with our philosophy and ideas. Apart from some of the raw material - mined silver and rough stone - everything happens in western Europe (mainly in the UK).
